Message for parents

SCHOOL CLOSED

Provision for Pupils of Key Workers only (children highlighted in the government key workers document) from Friday 27th March and during the Easter holidays will be at Shute Primary School – 01297 33348 or email admin@kilmingtonprimary.org.uk

The government are advising that, “If it is at all possible for children to be at home they should be”.  Using the school as a care provider should be the last option and only if you cannot keep your child safe at home.  The aim of closing schools is to minimise social interaction and to stop the spread of the virus.

Online Safety

Keeping Children Safe Online

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, this applies in real life but also online. Online safety is a key part of the Computing national curriculum and Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE). Working with pupils and parents, we are looking to provide children with the ability to make good choices online and to promote positive and safe behaviour.

Online Safety is a broad term, covering using the internet for research, communicating with others (text, image and video), playing games, collaborating with others and many other things. It is difficult to keep up with the latest trends and new technologies and Axe Beacon Federation is pleased to be able to share useful websites and documents to help keep children and adults safe and happy online.
