Message for parents

The school will be ‘open’ for visitors from 9.30am until 11.30am.  This is an opportunity for any of our community, or potential community, to come and see the school in action.  Anybody who wishes to come to our open day can turn up at the office, sign in as a visitor and they will be shown around the school by a member of staff.

The role of the PTFA - Did you know?

  • Parents become a member of the PTFA as soon as your child starts at the school!
  • Being an active member of the PTFA is a vital way you can help ensure that Kilmington School continues to thrive as an inspirational learning environment.
  • Parents can help in many different ways, for example by listening or reading to the children, transporting children, general help in the classroom, helping on trips, at the allotment, swimming, school clubs, as well as helping fund raising and social events to be a success……
  • The money raised by the PTFA has allowed the school to buy crucial equipment such as computers, interactive whiteboards and musical instruments It also provides regular contributions towards school trips and transport.
